About this policy

This policy explains what personal information LOGOWRENCH, LLC ("logowrench", "we") collects through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it as simple as we can.

What we collect

  • Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, and what you tell us about your project, when you send the contact form, place an order, or talk to us by chat, email or phone.
  • Order details: the packages you bought, the amount, the date and your order number. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, so we never see or store your full card number. If a payment does not go through, we also record the reason that Stripe or PayPal reports (for example "insufficient funds"), so that we can help you.
  • Your account: when you pay, we create an account for you using your name, email address and phone number, so you can follow your order. We store your password only in scrambled form (we cannot read it), together with your order history, the progress updates we post, and the files and links we attach to your orders.
  • Our emails to you: we keep a record of the service emails we send you (your receipt, your account link, progress updates and password links), including the date and whether they were delivered.
  • Technical details: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. We use these to keep the site working and secure. We also keep a short log of blocked spam attempts on our forms (the date, the IP address and the first part of the text), which is how we keep spam and abuse away.

Cookies and similar storage

  • A session cookie (lw_sid) keeps your cart and protects our forms from misuse. It is removed when you close your browser.
  • A currency cookie (lw_currency) remembers the currency you chose, for up to a year.
  • Your browser's local storage (lw_prefs) remembers your theme and accessibility settings. It stays on your device.
  • When you are signed in to your account, the session cookie also keeps you signed in. You can sign out at any time.
  • A language cookie (googtrans) is set only if you choose a language other than English in the top bar. The page text is then translated by Google Translate, a machine translation service run by Google, which loads from Google's servers and may set its own cookies. If you stay on English, nothing is loaded from Google. Translations are automatic and may contain mistakes; the English text is the official version.
  • Our live chat (Tawk.to) sets its own cookies when it loads. The payment pages of Stripe and PayPal set theirs.
  • Where we use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam, Google may set a cookie and collect technical information from your browser, under the Google Privacy Policy. It loads only when you start using one of our forms.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works, but your cart may not. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. It sets cookies and collects technical details such as your device and approximate location. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How we use your information

  • to reply to your enquiries and give you quotes;
  • to take payment, deliver your project, and send receipts and order updates;
  • to give support and handle refunds or disputes;
  • to give you access to your account, your order progress, and the files and links we attach to your orders;
  • to keep the site secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • to improve our services; and
  • to meet legal, tax and accounting duties.

The emails we send are service messages about your order or account. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the service, and only what they need:

  • payment providers (Stripe and PayPal);
  • email and website hosting providers;
  • our live chat provider (Tawk.to);
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics so that we can see how our site is used;
  • Google, which provides reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam, where it is switched on;
  • Google, only if you choose to translate the site into another language (Google Translate);
  • YouTube, only if you press play on a video on our site;
  • professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers; and
  • authorities, when the law requires it.

These companies have their own privacy policies and handle your data under their own terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. We keep order, account and payment records for as long as needed to run the service, handle refunds and disputes, and meet tax and accounting rules, which can be several years. After that we delete or anonymise them. Spam logs are kept only for as long as they help protect our forms.

How we protect it

We serve the site over HTTPS. Card payments happen on the secure pages of Stripe and PayPal. Your account, orders and enquiries are stored in a database and in files on our server that are not publicly accessible, and only people who need them can reach them. Account passwords are stored in scrambled form that we cannot read, and our staff pages need a login. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it, or to delete it (we may need to keep some records the law requires);
  • object to, or ask us to limit, certain uses of it;
  • withdraw your consent where we rely on it; and
  • complain to your data protection authority.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California or another US state with a privacy law, you may have additional rights under local law, and we respect them wherever you live. To use any of these rights, email info@logowrench.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites and countries

Our site links to other websites, such as Facebook and payment pages. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, and we expect them to protect it appropriately.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also put a clear notice on the site.
